Dive sites in Phuket

The dive sites of the Andaman Sea are varied. The most popular diving spots are around the islands of Racha Yai, Racha Noi and Phi-Phi. These picturesque islands are located near Phuket Island. Diving boats depart daily in these directions from Chalong Pier.

Divers of all skill levels will be able to find interesting dive sites for themselves. Many dive sites are suitable for both beginners and advanced divers.

Diver Stars dive center instructors will recommend the most suitable destinations for both beginners and experienced divers. Depending on the number of diving days, we will plan out trips to the islands with you. We will make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible.

Racha Yai Island is the most popular diving and snorkeling destination. The island is surrounded on all sides by bays with white sandy beaches and crystal turquoise waters. Diving sites are varied and will be interesting for both advanced divers and beginners.

The Phi-Phi group of islands is located 46 km east of Phuket. This is one of the most striking places in Southeast Asia. High limestone hills rising from the turquoise waters. The sites around the Phi-Phi Islands are famous for their colorful soft corals, a variety of marine life and comfortable diving conditions.

Shark Point was named after the leopard sharks that were previously seen in the area on every dive. This dive site, which consists of three limestone peaks, is adjacent to the King Cruiser dive site and the Anemone Reef site.

King Cruiser

King Cruiser

The King Cruiser was a car and passenger ferry that ran between Phi Phi and Phuket. On May 4, 1997, the ferry was on a regular voyage when, for reasons unknown, it deviated from its course and crashed into Anemone Reef.

This small island is located on the way from Phuket to Shark Point. A limestone rock with sheer walls rises above the sea. Its top is covered with dense greenery, and the walls go under the water to a depth of 30 m. This island is considered one of the best diving spots near Phuket.
