Racha Noi – Racha Yai Islands

Racha Noi and Racha Yai islands are located about 30 km south of Phuket. Racha Noi Island is uninhabited. The dive sites here are varied and will be of interest to divers of all skill levels. There are sandy coves with free-standing reef banks, coral-lined coves, sheer cliffs and huge boulders. The depths start from 7-9 m and can go up to 70 m. The currents in the bays are insignificant, however, on the northern and southern ledges, the currents can turn into strong ones. Visibility from 20 to 30 m at any time of the year.

Of the inhabitants, octopuses, cuttlefish, moray eels, lionfish, schools of barracudas, tuna, fish bats, sting rey are often found. There are eagles and turtles. The giant stingray Manta Rey can often be seen near the southern ledge.

Racha Yai Island is located closer to Phuket. This picturesque island has several bays with comfortable diving conditions. The depths of the sites start from 7 meters and smoothly carry you into the blue, reaching 30 m. The bottom is sandy, which provides excellent visibility up to 20-25 meters at any time of the year. The currents are insignificant.

From the sights you can see sunken ships and motorcycles, special structures for growing a reef, as well as life-size elephants.

Of the inhabitants, moray eels, lionfish, cuttlefish, sting rays, barracudas, fish bats are often found, and turtles can also be seen.
