PADI Enriched Air Diver — specialty allowing you to dive with an oxygen-enriched air mixture, namely NITROX.
The main advantage of NITROX is that your body is less exposed to nitrogen than when diving in air. Consequently:
- the allowable time at the bottom increases;
- reduced total nitrogen saturation on repetitive dives.
This special course is theoretical. You will find out what processes occur in the body when using NITROX. How the allowable limits change. Learn to plan your dive using tables or dive computer settings.
Optional two open water dives with NITROX. Paid separately.
If you dream of getting on a liveaboard, where there are many interesting deep sites and 4 dives a day, the PADI Enriched Air Diver license will be very useful for you. This is often a prerequisite.
Prerequisites for enrollment in the course:
age not less than 12 years;
PADI Open Water Diver (Junior Open Water Diver) license or a similar license from another training organization.
