Looking to start your professional diving career? It starts with the PADI Divemaster Course! By working closely with a PADI Instructor, you will deepen your knowledge of diving theory and hone your skills to a professional level.
The course takes at least 3 weeks. Theoretical part: independent study of the textbook, preparation of presentations, participation in lectures and discussions. Writing and discussion of tests, final exam. Preparing an emergency plan.
Practicing practical skills in the pool and in open water. Accompanying certified divers during underwater excursions. Participation and assistance to the instructor in delivering PADI courses.
You will learn how to independently plan dives and conduct briefings for groups of certified divers of different levels. You can become a true leader in safe, comfortable diving in accordance with PADI standards. You will become a real instructor assistant — you will become a professional!
Prerequisites for enrollment in the course:
not less than 18 years old;
PADI Advanced Diver and PADI Rescue Diver certification or a similar license from another training diving organization;
EFR Primary & Secondary Care license completed within the last 24 months;
medical permission for diving, signed by a doctor, issued not earlier than 12 months;
complete 5 endurance exercises and pass the swimming standards, gaining the required number of points;
40 logged dives in dive logbook.
Congratulations, you have successfully completed the course! What does it give you:
You become a PADI professional
You can assist the instructor during training sessions in confined and open water
Supervise divers both in the training process and in planning, organizing and managing the diving process
Conduct underwater excursions for certified divers (FUN divers)
You can independently conduct some of the PADI programs
You can become a PADI Instructor by taking the IDC – Instructor Development Course
